Built for a Deen that deserves care
We asked an uncomfortable question.
In 2014, I sat in a boardroom presenting work for a banking client. Every pixel was debated. Every detail mattered. Nothing was rushed.
I walked out with one question: why does this level of care only show up when money is involved?
The Muslim Ummah deserves products built with the same seriousness, respect, and attention given to the world's best technology.
The Wake-Up Call We Could Not Ignore
In November 2020, Vice uncovered something deeply troubling: well-known Islamic apps that millions of Muslims trusted for prayer times had been selling location data to third parties, including military contractors. This was not about rivalry. It was about trust in a space that should be sacred. It also revealed something larger. The Islamic app ecosystem had stopped evolving. Innovation had stalled. Design had plateaued. Generic AI tools were producing hallucinated hadith and fabricated rulings. The community deserved something built on authentic scholarship, not shortcuts.
We noticed something else, too.
Open any mainstream education platform and Plato, Descartes, and Kant are treated as living voices, thinkers worth engaging with directly, today.
Al-Ghazali, Ibn Taymiyyah, Rumi. Scholars of equal or greater depth. Reduced to footnotes. Historical artifacts, rarely engaged with directly.
That imbalance is not an accident. It is the quiet result of an education system built without room for Islamic intellectual tradition at its center.
We wanted to build something that corrected that. Not by replacing scholars, but by making their actual words reachable again.
SiratStudio Was Born
After two decades working with global teams and large organisations, We knew what excellence looked like.
We also knew I couldn't build this alone. So We partnered with PlanetBeyond, founded by Ahmer Mumtaz, without whose guidance and friendship this project would not have been possible.
Together, we brought in an amazingly talented team: Faiq Faheem, Talha Mabood, Muhammad Ibrahim, Abdul Mateen, Ammad Rameez, Ahsan Ali, and Adeel Ahmed.
IslamIQ is our answer. It combines classical texts, conversations with history's greatest scholars, and modern AI, wrapped in an experience crafted with the care your faith deserves.
